A boastful nose of chocolate truffle, humidor, iodine, currant and sweet herbs introduce this stunning Cabernet. Flavors of black licorice, blueberry, and violet come together in the dense and chewy midpalate. The finish lightens up as the velvety tannins take over and bring this wine to an elegant finish.
Destemmed and cold-soaked for 7 days with daily pump-overs. 8-day fermentation with a mix of delestages, pump-overs and punch-downs for cap management. 15-day total maceration.
79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 7% Malbec, 7% Petit Verdot
Aged for 22 months in 225L French oak barriques: 75% new, 20% neutral.
